Harvest Moon Tea Party
Years ago, Friday mornings meant waking up early to bake bread or a seasonal treat for our poetry tea party.
Sometimes the food went along with whatever we were reading or our seasonal theme. After about a year, though, weekly tea parties became a bit much, so we switched to once a month.
But something happened when I let go of the expectation that I had to create something every week: the creativity came back.
This Harvest Moon Pie was one of the treats I made for one of our monthly tea parties, and I've put together a little Harvest Moon guide inspired by it.
Inside you'll find a few children's book suggestions, a poem, some simple Harvest Moon facts, and the template and instructions for making your own Harvest Moon Pie.
It's a little invitation to gather around the table this autumn.

I hope you enjoy it.
Best,
Rachel
