I'm Rachel — an unapologetically multipassionate human.

I'm a flower farmer on the New England shoreline, and I've been homesteading here for fifteen years, keeping chickens and making sourdough back when it was still considered weird… These days, alongside this blog, I offer gardening consults, helping people who don't know where or how to start.

I started Bloom Harvest Flower Farm chasing the dream of growing flowers for a living. And for a while, I loved it.

But somewhere along the way, putting a price tag on every stem made the magic disappear.

So I'm trying to notice the beauty again... To make things because I want to. To grow things without wondering what they're worth.

For years, I tried to niche down. I'd find the thing I was supposed to be doing or talking about, build everything around it, get bored, and start over.

I'm not doing that anymore.

This is a place for all the things. The magic and the mess. The things that work and the things that don't. The gardens I'm growing, the things I'm making, and the lessons I've learned along the way.

More than anything, I want this to feel like a place to land. Somewhere to feel a little more connected to the seasons, to yourself, to whatever you're growing, literally or otherwise.

I know I need that.
